Chris Alley designs and makes timeless pieces of furniture

combining the natural beauty of wood with expressive

crafted details and clean lined design.

Using beautiful homegrown timbers finished by hand

with natural oils and beeswax, clean lines and pleasing

proportions contrast with puzzle like joinery. Free from

applied decoration or fittings, door and drawer pulls are

integral to the design encouraging tactile participation.

Established in 1994 an award winning furniture

designer, Chris is a founding member of The Tythe Barn

Workshops in Lewes and has exhibited his work at shows

and galleries throughout the UK.
